Beginning to Day 11……………..

Dear Everyone,
The world is made of so many doors…. those which will forever remain closed, and those of which we open to greet the unexpected.
We have crossed a threshold, and entered a space that is so incredibly evocative, that we are daily brought to tears of joy and sadness…..this is a journey, that in our wildest imagination, we would never have been able to accurately predict.
Your words of support comfort us, and offer companionship over 5000 miles from home…
We love you all and appreciate your accompaniment on this life-changing journey.
Our lives have been enriched in ways that words will never describe.
With much gratitude, love, and peace we remain eternally connected and committed.

Len

Hello All,

Funny…… after reading aloud an email from Nana, Len and I, in different rooms of our apartment, were at the same time penning a note to all of you.

I just wanted to start the day with a little thank you. We can’t tell you how much your “comments” and following along mean to us. We have been touched by your comments and know that we have your love and support with each step along the way…

We also wanted to thank our facilitator, Galya and Gail, who introduced us to Angela, for their amazing service and mentoring! We couldn’t have done any of this without you! We’ve not mentioned in our daily blog some of the hiccups that we’ve encountered… some things are not meant to be shared and the bureaucratic process, which is sometimes nearly unbearable, would probably have turned away our readers! :) Our support team, here in Ukraine and the States (San Francisco), prove that time and distance can be overcome.

Well as most of you slumber, we begin our day… Cannot wait for 4:00 to roll around so we can see our “little one”!

Love, Pam

Hi Pam, Len and Angela

I keep up everyday with your journey and am brought to tears with the beauty and love that comes through. You must write a book, (since I am your bookkeeper, you can use the money!) Just Kidding! You are both expressive writers and one knows it comes from the heart. I was at the house yesterday, everything is fine! Jackie G

Pam and Len,

You are a blessing to all of us. We love following along on your journey. It makes me smile when we see that Angela will have an everlasting love. Adoption is not for the faint at heart. You guys are strong beyond belief. Keep your heads up and know that someday you will look back at all of this and say that was easy peasy. :)

Give Angela and big hug and hello from all of our girls. We think of you all often. I am always smiling when I see the pictures and I see how happy Amgela is and will be.

You guys rock!!

Blessings,
Gail

Hello, Len, Pam and Angela,

I have been so flat out trying to keep up with schoolwork, and Abby & Barret have been sick, that I just finally had a few relaxing minutes to enjoy the wonderful news of your trip. Needless to say I think about you all the time! I am sooo glad to hear all is going well. Angela is beautiful and may even have more energy than Len??? Aaron and Abby ask me every day when Angela will be here. I think Abby is especially happy to have a new friend to do arts and crafts with.
We are simply thrilled for you, and know Angela will be as much of a blessing to you two as you are to her.

Barrett asked me to pass on a message to Len - he wanted Len to know he enjoyed the law school kegger at your house last Friday night. The house plants seem to respond to beer quite well. (What did you expect from Barrett?)

Continued best wishes and blessings for your blossoming relationship with Angela. We miss you and look forward to having you three home.
Love . . . . Teresa, Barrett, Aaron and Abby

Pam and Len it's so great to finally see you in Ukraine w/ Angela- this modern technology is mind boggling for us old guys! but a great big congrats on the mission so far and best of luck w/ a speedy successful adoption in foreign lands and a safe return to all your anxious friends- And
P.S. I found a Greenhouse operator-Roger Feist at the GIE show (the old NLGMS) program whose brother Larry adopted a Russian girl a few years ago- Maybe a chum for Angela- eh?
Love ya and hurry home
